Tyldesley
The Northern Union sub-committee banned Tyldesley from playing at their home ground after the referee was mobbed in their 26 Febraury cup game against Broughton. They formed had planned to use Leigh's ground for their remaining three league fixtures, all of which were scheduled to play at Tyldesley's home ground. They ended up playing on the home grounds of each opponent.
