Was selected for Country Firsts as an 18 year old in 1975 from the Wagga Kangaroos and continued to represent Country & Riverina until relocating to Maryborough in Qld in the early 1980's where he represented Wide Bay & Qld Country.
Returned to Wagga in 1987 as capt/coach of the Kangaroos and won the premiership also coached the team to 2 premierships in 1999 & 2000.
