A very underrated player. One of the better hookers to play in the Winfield cup in the eal 90's
A little bit of trivia: Ellam played the most times in the no 9 jersey for the Penrith Panthers in 1991. The year they won their first premiership... He is now one of the leading Behaviour teaches in Western Sydney.

Had a solid kicking game and his hands were always busy when in dummy half. Should have played more first grade games.

Has now turned his hand at golf. Handicap is in the low single figures

A great local junior from Colyton Rugby League Club. A real gentleman..
